IT Integrator – Payment & Settlement Services

About the role

ING Hubs Romania's Payment & Settlement Services (PSS) unit designs, builds and operates payment, settlement and open banking services. The IT Integrator coordinates and manages large-scale, cross-domain IT initiatives within PSS, acting as a bridge between business and IT. The role covers project governance, stakeholder collaboration and the delivery of complex IT solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define interdependencies and estimates for features and epics with stakeholders and set up implementation plans
• Coordinate the execution of plans, end-to-end testing and activation of new IT solutions, and give regular status reports
• Work with architects, product leads, operations, data owners, legal, risk and compliance, squads and external partners, and agree on responsibilities for business and IT changes
• Define project governance structures and remove obstacles to timely feature delivery
• Facilitate feature planning and delivery between PSS teams
• Receive work assignments from the Chapter Lead IT Integrator and maintain artefacts such as implementation plans, governance documents, deployment runbooks, test plans and closure reports

Required profile

• 5+ years in banking, payments services or as an IT Project Manager focused on coordination and integration, with analytical skills
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in an IT-related field
• Preferred: PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent, Agile/Scrum Master, or ITIL Foundation certifications
• Nice to have: 10+ years in feature engineering, integration, project management or customer journeys, high-level technical expertise, experience with leading banking software

Required skills

• Understanding of platform technologies, cloud services and integration patterns
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery
• Agile (Scrum, SAFe) and tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps
