HPC & AI Finance Lead

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring a Finance Lead for its HPC & AI business in Bucharest. The role is hybrid, with about two days per week spent in an HPE office. It partners with the business to support capital strategies and drive financial analysis, forecasting and reporting that underpins strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide complex financial analysis for the financial function or business, using deep knowledge of the business to achieve objectives.
• Consult with business leaders to guide long-term and strategic decisions.
• Forecast financial results across the business and lead complex business initiatives, advising and leading several analysts across finance and geographies.
• Drive process improvement and policy development, and represent the business unit in cross-regional or cross-functional planning.
• Mentor and guide analysts.

Required profile

• First-level university degree in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g. CPA, MBA) strongly preferred.
• Typically 10+ years of experience as a financial analyst, with experience across a variety of finance functions.

Required skills

• Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
• Superior business application skills, e.g. Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, communication, influencing, teamwork, project management and business acumen skills.
