General Manager Romania & Moldova

About the role

GE Healthcare is looking for a General Manager to drive its total business for Romania and the Republic of Moldova. The role defines and implements the commercial strategy for the region, optimizes resource use to cover market potential, leads all sales activities and owns the P&L, with growth targets set in the annual Operating Plan.

Key responsibilities

• Take full commercial responsibility for the GE Healthcare business in Romania and Moldova, including the entire HCS P&L.
• Define and run the commercial strategy, focusing on high-impact, strategic sales initiatives and commercial effectiveness.
• Lead the development of an integrated business plan covering strategies, tactics, financial objectives, budgets, channel structure and resource deployment, and review performance against plan.
• Analyze the ecosystem's commercial capabilities, map market and customer trends, and help drive consistent marketing programs.
• Build strong, long-term customer relationships, engage senior management, and lead the largest strategic deals in the region.
• Build and manage account teams, develop commercial staff at all levels, and ensure compliance with the business code of conduct and EHS policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• Proven leadership in business management, sales and marketing with in-depth knowledge of the healthcare market.
• Experience structuring large, complex, strategic deals.
• Strong business acumen, leadership and ability to influence and drive change.
• Fluency in English.
