Financial Controller Romania

About the role

Konecranes, a global leader in material handling solutions, is looking for a Financial Controller in Timisoara, Romania. The role reports directly to the Financial Controller and has a dotted-line relationship with the Managing Director.

Key responsibilities

• Statutory finance tasks and booking of general ledger entries in Business Central (ERP system)
• Navision key user
• Preparation of the local statutory annual report and monthly, quarterly and annual group reporting
• Quarterly intercompany reconciliations and understanding of the differences between local GAAP and IFRS
• Support the company controller and act as primary contact for policies and internal controls, cost controlling and reporting, administrative questions, legal accounting questions and taxation, including cooperation with the external accounting firm

Required profile

• Finance or accounting degree
• 3-4 years of experience
• Audit background, ideally at a Big 4 firm
• Strong written and spoken English and strong communication skills
• Ability to handle several tasks at once, willingness to learn and develop
• Previous Navision experience is an advantage

• Monthly gross salary of RON 8,000 - 9,000 plus a 10% bonus based on financial and individual targets
