F&A Specialist - R2R (Month-End Closing)

About the role

Genpact is looking for an F&A specialist focused on Record to Report (R2R) and month-end closing, based in Romania (Cluj-Napoca). The role covers all activities related to month-end closing, including reporting, reconciliations and statutory statements. It is listed as a regular, remote position with a standard work shift.

Key responsibilities

• Manage reporting and consolidations, ensuring KPIs and SLAs are met and reviewing the timely execution of controls
• Drive audit deliverables and ensure evidence is submitted on time according to requirements
• Produce quarterly, annual and audited statutory financial statements
• Review and post month-end journal entries and carry out month-end close activities
• Review balance sheet account reconciliations and handle quarterly intercompany processes
• Resolve balancing items
• Build customer relationships, lead process-update calls with customers and recommend process and automation improvements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance, or a Master's in Finance
• Experience in accounting with closing and reporting
• Dutch (required), at an advanced level (C1)
