Embedded Low Level Engineer

About the role

Accenture is looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to develop, integrate, and maintain system software for automotive infotainment platforms based on Linux and/or Android Automotive OS. You will work on cutting‑edge vehicle platforms that combine multiple operating systems into a unified developer ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and integrate embedded/system software in C/C++.
• Debug complex system‑level issues related to boot, power management, performance, memory, stability, and hardware interaction.
• Support board bring‑up, flashing, hardware integration, and software validation.
• Troubleshoot automotive communication protocols such as SOME/IP, Ethernet, UDS, and DoIP.
• Perform root‑cause analysis using tools like GDB, JTAG, Logcat, DLT Viewer, Wireshark, CANalyzer, Perfetto, etc.
• Optimize software performance, startup time, resource usage, and reliability.
• Ensure software quality and compliance with automotive development processes.

Required profile

• 10+ years of embedded software development experience, preferably in automotive infotainment, cockpit, or connectivity.
• Strong C/C++ development experience and hands‑on ownership mindset.
• Deep knowledge of Linux internals and/or Android/AAOS platform internals.
• Experience with system‑level debugging and root‑cause analysis.
• Ability to work independently on complex technical topics.
