DevOps / Platform Engineer (Hybrid, Bucharest)

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps / Platform Engineer to design, automate, secure and operate modern infrastructure and deployment platforms. The role focuses on CI/CD automation, containerised environments and observability, ensuring reliability, scalability and operational efficiency across our platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Develop automation tools and scripts using Bash and Python.
• Manage Linux servers, system services, patching, access controls and operational security.
• Build and support containerised environments with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Configure and maintain KrakenD API Gateway, handling routing, authentication and traffic management.
• Implement monitoring, alerting and logging using Prometheus, Grafana and the Elastic Stack (ELK).
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes, platform reliability and operational standards.
• Participate in incident response, troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and contribute to platform best practices.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Proven experience supporting cloud‑native and distributed systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
