Commercial Team Manager (English & Italian)

About the role

VEO Worldwide Services, an international clearance company, is seeking a results‑driven Commercial Team Manager to lead its acquisition team in Iași, Romania. The role combines hands‑on management of buyers with shaping commercial strategy in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of 4–5 buyers, driving commercial performance.
• Manage daily acquisition operations with a strategic, hands‑on approach.
• Coach, evaluate and develop team members to reach their full potential.
• Track KPIs, analyse performance and report results to senior management.
• Shape commercial strategy, propose action plans and exceed targets.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with buying, marketing and commercial teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience.
• People‑oriented, able to inspire, coach and empower a team.
• Results‑focused and motivated by measurable outcomes.
• Hands‑on, working side‑by‑side with the team daily.
• Confident communicator in English (B2 +) and Italian (B1 +).
• Holder of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Required skills

• Fluent English (minimum B2 level).
• Proficient Italian (minimum B1 level).
