Payroll & HR Specialist

About the role

As a Payroll & HR Specialist at SD Worx Romania, you will be the operational HR point of contact for day‑to‑day people activities. You will ensure high‑quality payroll processing and personnel administration while supporting managers and the People Country Lead throughout the employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end monthly payroll process, collecting and validating all inputs such as allowances, deductions and contract changes.
• Ensure timesheet accuracy and reconcile data with HR systems (SuccessFactors, colorful.hr).
• Calculate and administer non‑salary benefits, including meal vouchers, private health insurance and online benefits.
• Prepare and submit mandatory statutory declarations (REGES, ANAF) within legal deadlines.
• Respond to employee queries on payslips, calculations and deductions.
• Draft and manage personnel documents: contracts, addenda, decisions, certificates and job descriptions.
• Register all personnel movements (new hires, amendments, terminations) in REGES and internal systems.
• Maintain physical and digital personnel files, ensuring data accuracy, completeness and confidentiality.
• Coordinate onboarding and off‑boarding activities, including documentation, system access and equipment return.
• Track and administer various types of leave and manage communications with the private health insurance provider.
