Embedded Software Engineer – ADAS Functions for Driving

About the role

Bosch Group is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to design and implement advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) functions for next‑generation vehicles. You will translate system requirements into reliable vehicle control software, focusing on safety, performance and driver comfort.

Key responsibilities

• Define software architecture for longitudinal and lateral control functions.
• Develop and maintain embedded C/C++ code for ADAS driving functions.
• Implement safety, comfort and driver‑assistance strategies.
• Drive requirements analysis, implementation, reviews and traceability.
• Support vehicle testing, calibration and performance optimisation.
• Create engineering tools and automation scripts using Python.
• Analyse vehicle measurements with Vector toolchain.
• Collaborate with system architects, vehicle dynamics and safety teams.
• Participate in software verification, validation and integration activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in C/C++ development for embedded automotive systems.
• Good understanding of software development processes and real‑time systems.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for documentation and collaboration.
