Data Scientist for e‑Mobility Cloud Solutions

About the role

We are seeking a Data Scientist to join Bosch Engineering Center Cluj’s e‑Mobility Cloud Solutions team. You will transform large‑scale mobility data into AI‑driven insights that accelerate digitalisation across automated driving, electric and connected mobility projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy statistical, machine‑learning and AI models to solve real business and engineering challenges.
• Build data‑driven products and services for cloud platforms, business‑process optimisation, manufacturing analytics and telemetry use cases.
• Ingest, process and analyse heterogeneous data sources such as relational databases, log files, sensor streams and image data.
• Develop, test and maintain reusable code libraries and production‑grade data pipelines (batch and streaming).
• Apply statistical and experimental methods for root‑cause analysis and data‑informed decision making.
• Own the full lifecycle of data solutions—from discovery and prototyping to deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with a multicultural, distributed team of experts and contribute to the adoption of cutting‑edge AI technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Strong foundation in statistics and data‑science methodologies.
• Experience working with large, complex data sets in an industrial or mobility context.
