Banquet Waiter/Waitress

About the role

The Radisson Blu Hotel, Bucharest, is looking for a Waiter/Waitress for its Banqueting and Events operations. The Food & Beverage service team acts as sophisticated hosts who anticipate guests' needs and deliver a hospitality experience above and beyond expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Support the smooth running of the food and beverage department, delivering the guest service experience to the highest level
• Work as part of a team that maximises guest satisfaction and comfort, responding positively and on time to guest enquiries
• Carry out assigned duties in a timely and professional way
• Deliver on departmental plans and objectives
• Collaborate with the immediate supervisor to control costs and inventory and attain productivity and performance targets
• Maintain effective working relationships and promote the company culture and values
• Ensure compliance with legislation and best practice, with documentation for internal and external audits and follow-up as required

Required profile

• Experience in food and beverage service is beneficial but not essential
• Hands-on approach with a can-do work style
• Commitment to exceptional guest service and a passion for the hospitality industry
• Ability to find creative solutions and take ownership of assigned tasks
• Personal integrity and the ability to work in an environment demanding excellence

Required skills

• Experience using IT systems on various platforms
• Strong communication skills
