Technical Program Manager (m/f/d)

About the role

Variosystems develops and manufactures electronic solutions for industries where reliability is critical, such as Medtech & Life Science, Industrial & Automation, Aerospace & Defence and Smart Infrastructure & Environment. The Technical Program Manager manages existing and new customer programs, covering the engineering services along the entire value chain from development and industrialization to production and life-cycle management. The role balances product costs, timelines, technical feasibility and quality risks.

Key responsibilities

• Project management: work with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, manage several projects at once, own schedules, delivery targets and budgets, and report to stakeholders.
• Customer relationship management: understand customers' technical requirements, propose solutions and evaluate feasibility, and build strong customer relationships.
• Product cost calculation: calculate product costs based on MPC and PPC results.
• Leadership: self-led leadership in project setups, without disciplinary responsibility.
• Process optimization: continuously improve processes to increase efficiency, maximize CM2 contribution and minimize quality costs.

Required profile

• University degree in technical studies.
• Proven track record in a similar position.
• Advanced or intermediate English.
• Good communication, organization, teamwork and problem-solving skills, with a strong industrialization know-how.

• SAP knowledge in this field of expertise.
• MS Office package.
• Program/project management and a profound technical understanding.
