Technical Business Analyst - Risk Data

About the role

ING Hubs Romania, which supports 24 ING units worldwide with software development, data management, risk and compliance, audit and retail operations, is looking for a Technical Business Analyst in its Risk Data Tribe. The team provides correct and harmonized data so that the bank can move from report-driven to data-driven decisions, and the analyst works on data management, data requirements, data quality and data modelling for risk-related topics.

Key responsibilities

• Focus on data management, collaboration, data requirements refinement, BCBS 239 support, data definition and mapping, data onboarding, data quality and data modelling for business-related topics.
• Take part in discussions with the domains and in the maintenance, development and delivery of current and new requirements and services.
• Deliver knowledge and skills to stakeholders, including reconciliation, UAT and operational requests needed for data delivery.
• Implement data governance procedures using modern data management practices on risk-area data delivery products.
• Analyse data requirements and design reliable data and metadata solutions for the risk area.
• Ensure end-to-end data delivery aligned with data consumers and local data suppliers.
• Support COO Risk programmes with consultancy on solution design and data modelling.

Required profile

• Mandatory: extensive experience in data management and knowledge of data solutions such as data warehousing, data catalogue, data modelling and data lineage.
• Experience creating reporting cockpits, dashboards and visual performance indicators with data analytics and visualization tools.
• Experience in the credit risk domain.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, written and verbal English at C1 level.
• Familiar with Agile environments; multicultural mindset and customer focus.
• Master's or bachelor's degree in IT, engineering, mathematics or economics/business.
• Nice to have: statistical modelling experience, experience in a large international organization, experience with banking products and processes, and experience with cloud-based data platforms.
