Site Manager – Renewable Projects

About the role

Bureau Veritas Romania is looking for a Site Manager to lead the delivery of renewable energy projects. The role involves coordinating all phases from documentation review through construction and commissioning, ensuring projects meet scope, budget, schedule and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise construction and commissioning activities, driving projects toward Provisional Acceptance.
• Track milestones, identify critical risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed with support from HSE Coordinators.
• Review and manage project documentation, including designs, drawings, change orders and progress reports.
• Coordinate communication with governmental, regulatory bodies and municipalities.
• Develop and apply project management methodology and tools across multiple projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction and project management, preferably on renewable projects.
• Strong knowledge of Romanian standards, procedures, regulations and permitting processes for renewable energy assets.
