HSE Supervisor – Onshore Wind Farm

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HSE Supervisor to lead health, safety and environmental activities on our onshore wind farm project in Calarasi, Romania. The role ensures compliance with ISO standards, Romanian regulations and company policies throughout construction, commissioning and operational phases.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HSE plans, procedures and safe work method statements (SWMS) aligned with ISO 45001 and local labor regulations.
• Conduct daily safety inspections, toolbox talks and safety audits, and monitor leading indicators such as near‑misses and training hours.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near‑misses, document root causes and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage hazard identification, risk assessments and competency verification for high‑risk roles.
• Oversee PPE compliance, safety inductions, contractor performance and maintain HSE documentation for regulatory audits.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years HSE supervision experience in construction, preferably renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 (certification preferred) and familiarity with Romanian labor law and OHS regulations.
• Experience with high‑risk activities such as work‑at‑height, electrical work, crane operations and confined spaces.
• Proven ability to lead incident investigations, root‑cause analysis and implement CAPA.
