Senior Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an accomplished Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, build, and optimization of innovative, scalable, and automated infrastructure solutions on a global scale. The role is focused on Telco environments and requires deep expertise in IPv4/IPv6 management, network automation, and Juniper technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Build resilient and scalable networks using BGP, OSPF, and GRE tunnels for high‑performance Layer 2 and Layer 3 architectures.
• Implement automated network provisioning with Ansible, Terraform, and scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
• Develop disaster‑recovery plans and high‑availability solutions to ensure minimal downtime.
• Proactively monitor and optimize infrastructure performance using open‑source code, custom applications, and AI‑driven tools.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to shape technology roadmaps and adopt emerging Telco trends.
• Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to support teams, junior engineers, and operational staff.

Required profile

• Significant experience in infrastructure engineering within Telco operator environments.
• Advanced knowledge of IPv4/IPv6 deployment, dual‑stack strategies, and large‑scale network troubleshooting.
• Deep proficiency in Linux systems administration, kernel optimization, virtualization, and security hardening.
• Strong expertise with BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and advanced routing configurations, including policy‑based routing.
• Extensive hands‑on experience with Juniper MX, EX/QFX, and SRX platforms.
• Juniper certifications (JNCIA, JNCIP, JNCIE) or equivalent training.
• Proficiency in automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) and scripting (Python, Bash, Perl).
• Experience with performance tuning, MySQL clustering, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with source‑control systems (Git, Subversion) and modern DevOps practices.
