Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Bosch Service Solutions in Timisoara is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer. The role combines backend development with AI-assisted code, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines and observability, and acts as a subject matter expert for the development team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and AI-assisted PoC interfaces using Python
• Review, validate and refine AI-generated code for quality, security and maintainability
• Integrate and manage authentication and authorization services
• Design, build and automate cloud infrastructure with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions, including repository policies and secret management
• Implement and maintain monitoring and observability solutions
• Lead the design of internal platform tools, such as automating local development environments
• Guide the team on infrastructure and tooling, conduct peer code reviews and set AI code review guidelines

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience as a software engineer, DevOps engineer, site reliability engineer, cloud engineer, solutions architect or similar
• Demonstrated experience reviewing AI-generated code and identifying security vulnerabilities and logic errors
• Technical leadership and mentorship experience within an engineering team
• Agile experience in a global team and use of AI to improve daily work

Required skills

• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• Backend programming, preferably Python
• Containerization: Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes, Helm
• CI/CD pipeline design and optimization
• Monitoring and observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana and Elastic
• Linux, networking and databases (relational and non-relational)
