Senior Data Engineer for Connected Services

About the role

As a Senior Data Engineer in the Engineering and Data Solutions department, you will create secure, high‑quality software products for continuous data flow within the vehicle‑to‑cloud ecosystem. You will work in a hybrid model with an internationally distributed team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop large‑scale data integration solutions for automotive R&D applications.
• Design, test and document reliable data integration pipelines and proof‑of‑concepts.
• Contribute to architecture and implementation of near‑real‑time processing software.
• Build scalable ETL/ELT processes using Big Data frameworks and maintain data visualizations with domain experts.
• Collaborate in an agile environment with project leaders, product owners and solution architects.

Required profile

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electronics, Telecommunications or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Data Engineer on integration platforms.
• Strong Python programming skills and experience with relational or NoSQL databases.
• Excellent communication in English and ability to mentor new team members.
