Risk Operations Support

About the role

Join the AML, Fraud & Risk Operations team at EveryMatrix in Bucharest. You will help protect the business by monitoring transactions, investigating suspicious activity and supporting compliance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor transactional activities to detect fraudulent patterns and take remedial action.
• Investigate, report and process suspicious account transactions and withdrawal requests.
• Use fraud prevention systems to optimise deposit conversion while keeping chargeback rates within thresholds.
• Escalate identified threats to the COO or Compliance Officer and liaise with the MLRO.
• Maintain documentation, configure system rules and ensure data confidentiality.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in payments, security or fraud prevention.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Team‑oriented yet capable of independent work.

Required skills

• Experience with fraud detection and investigation techniques.
• Understanding of international online payment methods and associated risks.
