Prototype Product Coordinator

About the role

The Prototype Product Coordinator will support Bosch Engineering Center Cluj in delivering high‑quality prototype builds on time. You will work closely with engineering, project teams and sales to ensure smooth material flow, accurate forecasting and clear communication throughout the sample process.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain prototype build timelines to improve traceability of material and plant planning.
• Coordinate order creation, track internal workflows and manage change requests.
• Support prototype forecasting, prioritising orders when capacity bottlenecks arise.
• Extract, sort and report monthly key figures on prototype quantities, lead times and recurring issues.
• Track the entire sample build process and communicate progress to engineering, project and sales stakeholders.
• Provide first‑level support for prototype order creators (sales or engineering).
• Assist continuous‑improvement initiatives and rollout of process changes within the business unit.

Required profile

• University degree.
• Experience in project management, coordination or project support is a plus.
• Familiarity with MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel) and SAP.
• Experience in manufacturing areas such as production, procurement, planning or logistics is advantageous.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem‑solving abilities.
