About the role
The OPT Inspector 1 is responsible for visually inspecting cargo during loading and unloading operations, taking samples according to standards, and performing on‑site quality analyses for Bureau Veritas in Constanta.
Key responsibilities
- Visually inspect cargo condition during loading/unloading.
- Take and prepare samples in accordance with applicable standards and work instructions.
- Seal cargo storage areas such as warehouses, vessel holds, trucks, and railcars.
- Perform quality analyses at the inspection site within the scope of authority.
- Prepare activity reports after each task and promptly inform the supervisor of any issues.
- Ensure proper shift handover by providing necessary information for smooth operations.
