New Truck Salesman – Arad

About the role

Scania Romania is recruiting a New Truck Salesman to join its team in Arad, specialising in selling new trucks to new and existing customers. Reporting to the Dealer Director North-West Region, you will build relationships with customers, grow the Scania brand in your territory and collaborate with colleagues across the network. The position is on a permanent contract.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer relationships and prospects: develop contact plans for product launches and sales campaigns, and act as first point of contact for customer queries and complaints
• Sell customer propositions: identify suitable products and services, present them with a clear rationale and negotiate commercial terms
• Maintain CRM data: schedule follow-ups and record information after each contact to support retention and business development
• Support internal communications and help build strong external customer relationships
• Report non-compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory codes, and escalate issues as appropriate
• Take part in assessment, training, coaching and mentoring, and keep up to date with technology, regulations and industry best practice

Required profile

• Experience in a sales environment is essential
• Trustworthy, tenacious and organised, able to work independently and manage time and workload
• Passionate about the job and its impact on customers' businesses
