Laser Tracker Measurement Technician

About the role

The Laser Tracker Measurement Technician supports the production and field teams by installing, calibrating and operating Laser Tracker equipment to perform high‑precision dimensional inspections. The role also contributes to quality investigations, root‑cause analysis and continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Install and calibrate Laser Tracker systems in the production environment or on‑site.
• Perform quality inspections, final checks and attestation of work orders.
• Generate dimensional inspection reports and compare measurements with nominal CAD models.
• Provide operational surveillance of process, product and people, and optimise inspection activities.
• Respond quickly to quality issues, open/close non‑conformities and prevent foreign‑object damage.
• Conduct investigations, root‑cause analysis and support predictive quality activities.
• Coach operations and support functions on quality observations and improvements.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate with a strong awareness of compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity.
• Ability to work within multifunctional teams and provide feedback to operations.

Required skills

• Operation and calibration of Laser Tracker equipment.
• Probing with SMR/reflectors for precise measurements.
• Dimensional inspection and generation of inspection reports.
• Quality inspection according to defined standards.
• Root‑cause analysis and CAD model comparison.
