Process Engineer

About the role

The Process Engineer will support the transition from design to manufacturing, ensuring industrial requirements are integrated throughout the product lifecycle. This permanent position is based in Brasov and involves occasional travel to Germany for training.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate on design-to-manufacturing activities and define build processes for manufacturing execution.
• Calculate operation‑level times, manage technical sequencing, and specify industrial assets such as jigs, tools, and machines.
• Drive first‑article installation, maintain feedback loops with production, and ensure configuration management compliance.
• Create and update routings, bills of material, and standard operating instructions aligned with shop‑floor needs.
• Run and support PFMEA/FMEA, participate in quality control boards, and manage supply‑chain data consistency.

Required profile

• Professional experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably within aerospace or similar high‑tech environments.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with production, supply chain, and maintenance teams.
• Willingness to travel periodically to Germany for training and knowledge transfer.

Required skills

• Heat treatment, stretching, and surface protection processes.
• PFMEA/FMEA analysis.
• Routings, bills of material (BoM) creation, and standard work documentation.
• Configuration management (Delta 2) and industrial asset specification.
• Supply‑chain data management and MRP impact awareness.
