KYC IT Product Owner

About the role

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank's technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe, based in Bucharest. As a KYC IT Product Owner you will lead a multidisciplinary agile team and be accountable for the value of changes delivered to customers, users and internal stakeholders. You will be the main interface to internal and external customers, managing expectations and negotiating requirements, and you will work alongside the Scrum Master/Agile Coach.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business strategy, metrics and stakeholder needs into the team mission, product backlog, priorities and roadmap
• Develop product vision, requirements and roadmap for key focus areas, and define the team mission and priorities with the development team and stakeholders
• Create, prioritise and maintain the product backlog (features, epics, user stories, bugs, tasks) and select stories for each sprint
• Lead planning of product releases and new functionalities, and define purposeful targets for the team
• Keep stakeholders informed, gather feedback and ensure value is realised
• Support team members' growth with the Scrum Master/Agile Coach and Chapter Lead, and handle line-management duties such as targets, feedback and performance reviews where applicable

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or a similar field
• Past experience coordinating IT projects, minimum 2 years
• Good understanding of IT processes, software development and software operations
• Proven record of turning business needs into delivery goals
• Previous experience in an Agile environment (Scrum Master, Product Owner, Agile Coach roles are a plus)
• Experience with KYC products and processes is a plus
