Junior HR Operations Specialist

About the role

Huawei Europe is looking for a Junior HR Operations Specialist to support its growing workforce in Bucharest. You will act as a bridge between local staff, Chinese expatriates and regional HR teams, ensuring smooth HR processes and a positive employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end processes for leased workforce, including onboarding, contract extensions and fee adjustments.
• Support recruitment control tasks and prepare regular reports for regional and HQ teams.
• Handle escalations, guaranteeing resolution within agreed service levels.
• Collaborate with HR representatives, suppliers and cross‑functional partners to maintain process integrity.
• Identify risks proactively and suggest continuous improvements.
• Assist China HQ and regional centers of excellence in digital HR transformation initiatives.
• Analyse HR data to enhance employee experience and operational quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Strong time‑management and project‑management capabilities.
• Analytical mindset with a solution‑oriented approach.
• Fluent English; knowledge of Chinese is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and customer‑service skills.
• Passion for data‑driven optimisation of the employee journey.
