IT Integrator for WB Data Lake Platform

About the role

ING Hubs Romania, a software development and data management hub serving 24 ING units worldwide, is looking for an IT Integrator for its Wholesale Banking Data Lake platform. The role coordinates with the Technical Product Owners of the platform squads, keeps projects on the agreed roadmap and strategy, and bridges DevOps teams and technical strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with Technical Product Owners to keep the platform on track, remove obstacles and deliver features on time, within cost and scope.
• Define, build and launch complex technology products, turning goals and architectural designs into technical specifications and overseeing the product lifecycle.
• Work with the IT Area Lead on strategy and roadmap, and take part in architecture meetings.
• Steer epics and features, drive the product backlog to IT squads, and act as a single point of contact for senior stakeholders.
• Mentor Technical Product Owners and foster a culture of ownership and delivery excellence.
• Manage communication with stakeholders, organize stakeholder updates and escalate impediments.
• Contribute to strategy execution and lifecycle management of the Data Lake, and collaborate with an international team of Chapter Leads, Product Owners, Agile Coaches, Architects, ETL DevOps engineers and Infrastructure Specialists.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in similar roles, with proven ability to lead, coach and develop Technical Product Owners.
• Proven ability to manage technical product implementation and transformation, and to work in multi-country, cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in an IT-related field.
• Advanced English; foreign languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Oracle DB, Data Lake and big data, ETL tooling, and Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, YARN, Hive, Spark, NiFi).
• Cloudera Data Platform (CDP/CDH/Cloudera Manager), security and governance (Kerberos, Ranger, Atlas).
• Linux administration, Ansible, CI/CD (Azure DevOps pipelines), scripting (Bash, Python).
• Knowledge of networking, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, monitoring (Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus), private and public cloud, and real-time streaming.
• Experience with ETL tools such as DataStage, Informatica or DBT is a plus; overall developer experience is a plus.
