IT Business Analyst – BISA Squad

About the role

ING Hubs Romania, a software development hub serving 24 ING units worldwide, is looking for an IT Business Analyst for its BISA squad. The squad enables MT members and affiliates to get up-to-date data insights in a Power BI dashboard by working closely with engineers using the latest ING technologies. The role is carried out in an Agile squad of Business Analysts, IT DevOps and UX Designers, and can be done from home or in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze requirements so they are complete, consistent and well translated into design, and adjust them when needed
• Support the Product Owner and the squad in managing the backlog: prioritize, turn epics into features and user stories, and link requirements to the product vision, strategy and roadmap
• Analyze current processes, problems and root causes, and propose clear process designs
• Analyze data inputs, outputs and adjustments in client processes, assess data quality and propose improvements
• Create test cases and test functionality changes made by developers, and contribute to the need for automated data feeds
• Identify business needs, implications and dependencies, and build stories accordingly

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in an economic or IT-related field
• Relevant project and banking experience as an IT Business Analyst, with functional-side affinity and knowledge of the data domain
• Excellent stakeholder communication and ability to reach broad agreement
• Good understanding of data feeds, data models and process modelling (BPMN)
• Wide testing experience (progression, non-regression, INT, UAT), including writing test scenarios and performing tests if needed
• Familiarity with release management concepts and project management support for the Product Owner
• Practical Agile experience in cross-functional and distributed teams, and experience supporting module rollouts
• Advanced English; mandatory

Required skills

• Mandatory affinity for the Microsoft stack: SSAS, SSIS, SQL, Power BI
• Process modelling (BPMN)
