Industrial Sales Representative

About the role

The Industrial Sales Representative manages and grows a portfolio of industrial customers, develops new business opportunities and achieves sales targets. The role suits someone who combines strong technical understanding with excellent communication and negotiation skills to deliver high-quality customer support and commercial solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Present, promote and sell products and services to existing and prospective customers
• Analyze the needs and cost-benefit of current and potential customers
• Build and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Resolve customer problems and complaints quickly to maximise satisfaction
• Achieve agreed sales targets and outcomes on schedule
• Coordinate with team members and other departments
• Analyse market potential, track sales and status reports, and build territory plans and strategies
• Provide supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competition and new product opportunities
• Stay up to date with best practices and promotional trends, generate an opportunity pipeline and close deals
• Communicate insights and value propositions and continuously improve customer satisfaction through feedback

Required profile

• Proven track record of managing accounts and achieving revenue targets
• Willingness to travel at least 60% of the time to customer events
