HPC & AI Finance Lead

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring a Finance Lead for its HPC & AI business in Bucharest. The role is hybrid, with about two days per week spent in an HPE office. It partners with the business to support capital strategies, perform financial analysis and reporting, drive forecasting and ensure strong business controls.

Key responsibilities

• Provide complex financial analysis for a financial function or business, using deep knowledge of the business to achieve objectives
• Consult with business leaders to guide long-term and strategic decisions
• Forecast financial results across the business
• Lead and advise on complex business initiatives, typically leading several analysts across finance and geographies
• Drive process improvement and policy development, and represent the business unit in cross-regional or cross-functional planning
• Mentor and guide analysts

Required profile

• First-level university degree in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g. CPA, MBA) strongly preferred
• Typically 10+ years of experience as a financial analyst
• Experience across a variety of finance functions

Required skills

• Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
• Superior business application skills, e.g. Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical, communication, influencing, teamwork and project management skills
