Geographic Legal Counsel Specialist with Italian

About the role

Accenture's Global Legal Network (GLN) is hiring a Geographic Legal Counsel Specialist with Italian in Bucharest. The role supports Accenture's Corporate Functions and other areas on local and global legal matters, including compliance, ethics, contracts and corporate documents. It involves liaising with internal stakeholders, onshore counsels and the GLN team, and may include people and process management responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support to Accenture Corporate Functions and other teams (Workplace Solutions, Marketing & Communication, HR, Corporate Citizenship, CIO, IT) on daily operations.
• Support compliance matters: local ethics and compliance, anticorruption, competition law, regulatory, data privacy, intellectual property, conflicts of interest and Code of Conduct reviews.
• Review local and global data privacy initiatives and flag risks against local law and Accenture policies.
• Support entity matters: drafting corporate documents and Board resolutions, managing powers of attorney, supporting PMI processes and keeping databases up to date.
• Collaborate with other legal teams such as Litigation, Employment Law, Taxes, Acquisitions, Administrative Law and Contract Management.
• Deliver training to Accenture teams on corporate functions support, and help improve processes and tools.
• Manage SharePoint and communication records, and support recruitment and team mentoring.

Required profile

• Italian Bachelor's degree in Law.
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience at law firms, as in-house counsel or in legal outsourcing.
• Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements, and in generic in-house legal matters such as risk mitigation, compliance and contracts.
• Fluency in English and Italian, with strong oral and written communication skills.
• Desirable: Italian citizenship.
• Travel may be required.
