Key responsibilities

  • Design and own the business architectures and data models for PLM and Quality systems
  • Translate complex business requirements into domain models, data structures and system behavior
  • Build custom applications and services with model-driven development, low-code platforms (e.g. Mendix), and enterprise systems such as Teamcenter PLM and SAP
  • Design analytics solutions using platforms such as Qlik with Snowflake
  • Define and maintain data models, interfaces and integrations between PLM, Quality, ERP and downstream systems
  • Act as technical owner in the Configuration Management domain, working with domain experts and HARMAN Digital IT
  • Analyze and resolve complex system, data and process issues, and drive continuous improvement of Configuration and Change Management processes
  • Support Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality teams in using CM-related systems

Required profile

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in software development, systems engineering or enterprise application development
  • Ability to design end-to-end systems and work in international, cross-functional teams with strong ownership
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid model, 3 days per week from the Bucharest office

Required skills

  • Object-oriented programming and design principles
  • Front-end technologies (React, HTML & CSS, JavaScript)
  • Backend development (Node.js, Python)
  • Cloud platforms (Azure) and Git
  • System integrations via REST APIs and microservices
  • Low-code platforms (e.g. Mendix) and analytics platforms (QLIK, Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric) are a bonus

What we offer

  • Employee discounts on HARMAN and Samsung products
  • Training through HARMAN University and tuition reimbursement
  • Wellness benefits and an employee recognition program
  • Inclusive, diverse work environment
