Embedded Software Engineer – Networking

About the role

Join a dynamic team that builds real‑time, MCU‑based networking solutions. You will work on cutting‑edge embedded software, collaborating with hardware and system groups to deliver reliable Ethernet communication for a variety of products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded C++ software for real‑time MCU platforms.
• Implement and optimise Ethernet stacks, drivers and low‑level networking components.
• Configure and manage L2 switches, VLANs and embedded network communication.
• Collaborate with hardware and system teams on debugging, integration and feature development.

Required profile

• Strong C++ programming skills in embedded environments.
• Hands‑on MCU development experience (Arm Cortex‑M/R, Infineon AURIX TriCore or similar).
• Experience with RTOS development (FreeRTOS, ThreadX or similar).
• Deep knowledge of Ethernet and embedded networking stacks such as lwIP.
• Experience writing drivers for Ethernet MAC/PHY and specialised SoC subsystems.
• Ability to configure and manage L2 switches via SPI or in‑band protocols.
• Familiarity with VLANs and network segmentation.
