Data Governance Deployment Analyst – Engineering Data Management

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Engineering Data Management Specialist to join Airbus Defence and Space Romania in Bucharest as a Data Governance Deployment Analyst, focusing on data governance methods and tools.

Key responsibilities

• KPI Automation & Analytics – design and automate data collection for Data Governance KPIs such as Google Drive tagging and data usage assessment.
• Performance Monitoring – develop and maintain QlikSense and Google Looker dashboards to visualise KPI progress for committee reviews.
• Tool & Portal Administration – coordinate governance tools including JIRA and maintain the Data Governance Google Site.
• Compliance Operations – execute automated compliance processes like the Data Tagging Reminder system and support users.
• Technical Requirement Definition – gather and analyse functional requirements for evolving data governance tools.
• Data Custodian – act as Data Custodian for the Digital Data Office and support adoption of the new Data Catalogue.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of professional experience in Data Governance or related Data Management areas.
• Strong customer orientation, problem‑solving mindset and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to explain technical details to non‑technical users.
