DevOps Engineer – Cloud & Automation

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to own the delivery pipeline and operational automation for LSEG's internal observability platform. This high‑ownership position will shape how the platform is built, deployed, and scaled across Azure and future cloud or on‑premises environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines covering testing, validation, infrastructure provisioning and deployment.
• Implement GitOps workflows with branching strategy, environment promotion, approval gates and rollback patterns.
• Manage infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform, including module design, remote state, environment separation and secrets handling.
• Operate container and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm) for stateful workloads such as ClickHouse and Redis.
• Collaborate with Lead Engineer and SRE team on infrastructure decisions, runbooks and recovery procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines in a cloud environment.
• Strong background with Terraform and GitOps practices.
• Hands‑on expertise with Docker, Kubernetes and Helm, including stateful services.
• Experience managing secrets securely using tools like HashiCorp Vault or Azure Key Vault.
• Ability to communicate clearly with engineering and SRE teams about pipeline design and operational risk.
