Senior Risk Consultant (Credit Risk Modelling)

About the role

EY is hiring a Senior Risk Consultant (Credit Risk Modelling) in Bucharest, working within its Consulting team. You will deliver risk solutions to financial services clients (banks, capital markets, insurance) and apply statistical and machine learning models to credit risk, regulatory and risk management issues. The role is highly collaborative, with risk management, regulatory, data science and advisory experts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and support credit risk models and parameters
• Apply predictive analytics and machine learning techniques
• Process, cleanse and verify the integrity of data used
• Guide team members, give constructive on-the-job feedback, train and conduct performance reviews

Required profile

• Credit risk background
• Exposure to VBA, R Studio, Python, SQL and other data analysis tools
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities, project management skills and strong communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
