About the role
Miele Tehnica, a subsidiary of Miele & Cie. KG in Germany, produces electronic components for Miele appliances such as washing machines, tumble dryers, vacuum cleaners and ovens. It is looking for an Embedded Developer to join its Development Center in Brașov and develop software in an agile environment for high-end appliances.
Key responsibilities
- Develop embedded software functionalities for high-end appliances in an international environment.
- Own the software from concept through final commissioning, including integration, documentation, testing and validation.
- Ensure that deliverables meet quality goals.
Required profile
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Electronic/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience with development tools and practices.
- English at least at CEFR level B2.
Required skills
- Developing and debugging C/C++ software, debugging and refactoring legacy code.
- Agile methods, review techniques and continuous integration and delivery.
- Microcontroller technology and basic electronic components.
- Experience with system and software requirements and understanding of testing concepts.
- Nice to have: Python or PowerShell, object-oriented programming, German.
