Digital Workplace Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

Miele is looking for a Digital Workplace Infrastructure Engineer in Brașov. The role focuses on supporting the endpoint device management environment (EDM) and covers about 80% of the workload with support tickets, while 20% is spent on other areas such as infrastructure, application management and other technologies like Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365.

Key responsibilities

• Handle support tickets within the EDM environment
• Work on infrastructure topics (configurations, policies, security)
• Contribute to application management, including scripting
• Support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Windows 365

Required profile

• Fluent English is required; basic German is expected
• First-level support experience in Windows (optional iOS and macOS) and hardware is welcome

Required skills

• Microsoft Intune: understanding endpoint device configuration, policies and compliance settings
• Entra ID: managing user and device identities, access management and authentication support
• PowerShell: using and adapting scripts
• Networking basics: troubleshooting connectivity and VPN issues
• Windows Hello for Business, VPN, BitLocker and BIOS/firmware troubleshooting
• Windows updates and drivers, root cause analysis with Event Viewer and the registry
