Senior Associate - Finance & Accounts (I2C 5B)

About the role

Genpact is hiring a Senior Associate for its Finance & Accounts (F&A) team, I2C 5B, based in Romania. The role covers customer and order processing, reporting and documentation, and cross-functional support, with a standard work shift and a hybrid arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main contact between customers, sales teams, brokers, distributors and internal departments to investigate and resolve complex issues.
• Ensure accurate processing, shipping and invoicing of customer orders, and analyse orders for compliance with client requirements and cut-off times.
• Maintain and update customer master data, including new account setups and changes.
• Prepare and submit monthly reports and audit-related documentation, and assist the Assistant Manager with reports.
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting controls (SOX).
• Create, update and maintain SOPs and working procedures.
• Support credit control activities and respond to ad hoc requests from business groups and local units.
• Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and act as a bridge between customers, outside sales and internal departments.
• Train and mentor junior team members and maintain strong relationships with key markets and customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance, or a Master's in Finance.
• Advanced French (C1); French is required.
• Accounting certification, F-Tec certification, CAMS, CFE, CFI, or Microsoft Power BI certification.
