Project Manager - Payments and Settlement Services

About the role

ING Hubs Romania, which provides software development, data management, risk and compliance, audit and retail operations services to 24 ING units worldwide, is hiring a Project Manager for its Payments and Settlement Services (PSS) unit. The PSS is an independent unit within ING's CTO domain, delivering standardized payments and settlement services to ING business lines (WB, Retail and others) while aiming to commercialise its payment platforms externally. The role combines market and system knowledge, product management and business expertise to lead change initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Take a leading role in delivering change initiatives, combining market and system knowledge, product management and business expertise.
• Analyse cross-domain, end-to-end, complex environments and act as the interface between customers, operations, IT and risk management to turn challenges into technology and process solutions.
• Maintain sustainable relationships with key stakeholders and represent the business voice to the squads.
• Facilitate release and testing through impact assessments, release reports and user sign-offs.
• Structure, simplify and solve process and system issues, and lead end-to-end refinement and solution design sessions.
• Work independently, think through decision implications, and share knowledge so it stays up to date and reusable.

Required profile

• Customer Journey Expert (CJE) with experience in program and project management in payments.
• Experience with product and service management and processes.
• Experience working with nearshore and offshore teams is an advantage.
• Bachelor's or master's degree and an excellent level of English.
• Naturally collaborative, customer-focused, able to challenge the status quo and bring people together.
