Partnership Manager – Romanian Market

About the role

Abakus School, an international school of mental arithmetic and cognitive development for children aged 5–12, is growing and looking for a Partnership Manager for the Romanian market. The role is fully remote and focuses on building long-term partnerships with schools and educational institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and develop communication with current partners across Romania.
• Attract potential school partners (public and private) through calls, emails and online meetings with decision-makers.
• Present products and educational programmes, negotiate and conclude partnership agreements.
• Keep partner information accurate and up to date.
• Represent the company at educational exhibitions, seminars and other events.
• Contribute to the growth of the Romanian direction by expanding the partner network and reaching measurable business goals.
• Attend team meetings, manager reviews and training sessions.

Required profile

• Native-level Romanian, as you will work with Romanian clients and partners.
• Working-level English or Russian for internal communication with the team and manager.
• At least 1 year of experience in B2B sales, partnership management or education.
• Experience with schools, educational institutions or the public sector is a plus.
• Intercultural awareness, understanding of the Romanian education system and business customs.
• Proactive, self-organised, stress-resistant and comfortable working fully remotely; the sales cycle is long and decisions are made at multiple levels.
• An additional plus: contacts in the Romanian educational environment and willingness for occasional business trips within the country.

Required skills

• Quick with tools such as Google Workspace, CRM and chat platforms.

What we offer

• Monday to Friday, roughly 9:00–16:00 (5–6 working hours per day).
• Fixed salary of €700 per month plus a €200 bonus for task completion (gross).
• Fully remote role in a supportive, mission-driven team.
• Collaborative service agreement as a contract.
