Legal Advisor - Data Regulatory

About the role

Ramboll is looking for an experienced Legal professional to join its Global Data Regulation Team in the Global Legal Operations, Excellence and Transformation unit. The team builds global data regulatory programs covering GDPR, the AI Act and other data protection rules, and works with colleagues from information security, compliance, legal and technology to put in place practical controls, policies and risk measures.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor developments in data protection and digital regulations such as GDPR, AI Act, Data Act and NIS2.
• Provide practical legal advice on data protection, privacy and regulatory compliance.
• Manage the Data Privacy shared inboxes: triage requests, assign them to the right partners or experts, and track case status, deadlines and follow-ups.
• Prioritise matters by risk, legal requirements and business impact, and escalate urgent or sensitive issues.
• Support data subject rights requests, privacy incidents and regulatory inquiries, and prepare reports on mailbox volumes and trends.
• Contribute to improving mailbox management, triage and tracking processes, and help turn regulatory requirements into clear business guidance.

Required profile

• Law degree.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in privacy, data protection, legal operations, compliance or regulatory processes.
• Ability to coordinate work across stakeholders and keep accurate records and trackers.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Professional proficiency in English, written and spoken.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Case-tracking or workflow management tools.
