Lean Specialist

About the role

The Lean Specialist will drive business excellence by applying Lean and Right‑First‑Time principles across Airbus Aerostructures. The role focuses on developing improvement methodologies, coaching teams, and fostering a Kaizen culture throughout the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the improvement referential, leading the transfer and coaching of Lean concepts, tools, and techniques.
• Collaborate with managers, technologists, coordinators, and shift heads to identify process losses and plan continuous‑improvement projects.
• Support the management and coordination of Lean/Kaizen projects, workshops, and internal courses.
• Guide the introduction of new products and processes using Lean/Kaizen methods.
• Standardise and document Lean activities, creating internal procedures, work instructions, and promotional materials.
• Organise and lead Lean/Kaizen events and ensure regular communication of Lean news.

Required profile

• Professional experience in Lean, Kaizen, or continuous‑improvement environments.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with managers, technologists, and shift leaders.
• Strong awareness of compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity.
