About the role

Airbus Aerostructures is looking for a Mechanical Locksmith to join its maintenance team in Brasov. You will be responsible for executing planned and corrective maintenance tasks, ensuring production equipment operates reliably and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair work according to preventive maintenance instructions and technical documentation.
• Ensure all maintenance activities for the department are completed on time.
• Diagnose faults quickly, repair them, and return equipment to service as soon as possible.
• Follow departmental work orders and instructions set by the maintenance manager.
• Collaborate with production supervisors to guarantee proper operation of all production devices and equipment.
• Maintain accountability for the condition of assigned tools and equipment.

Required profile

• Professional vocational training as a Mechanical Locksmith.
• Relevant qualification in the field.
• Minimum three years of experience in a similar maintenance role.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings.

Required skills

• Knowledge of linear guide systems, ball screws, gearboxes, bearings and lubrication systems.
• Proficiency with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers and comparators.
• Experience using specific assembly tools.
