Junior PM and Growth Engineer (Computer Science Background)

About the role

Fabulous, a health, wellness and coaching company, is looking for a Core Junior Product Manager with a Growth Engineering specialty to join its Growth team. The team combines behavioral scientists and growth product managers and applies behavioral insights to improve the product, inform experimentation and optimize growth. The role supports the Chief Product Officer in executing the product roadmap and spearheads growth engineering initiatives, acting as a bridge between product management and the rest of the company. It suits a data-driven, analytical and creative person with a computer science background.

Key responsibilities

• Support the CPO in delivering the product roadmap and coordinate across teams to hit milestones on time
• Act as the link between product, engineering, marketing and data science
• Peer-review growth code and experiment analysis, launch experiments (e.g. on Firebase), debug and QA features before release
• Run competitor and user research and report product performance to the CPO and stakeholders
• Design, ship and analyze pricing and packaging tests (price points, bundles, intro offers, paywall) across the Web2App funnel, and maintain plans in Chargebee
• Run pricing research (surveys, conjoint, Van Westendorp, Gabor-Granger) and support willingness-to-pay segmentation
• Optimize conversion and ARPU across onboarding, paywall, upsells and save flows, tracking PS conversion, PS_LTV_14, ARPU and upsell attach rate

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, computer science, engineering or another technical major, or related work experience
• Experience designing and running AB/RCT trials
• Comfortable with statistical significance, common statistical biases and basic experimental design
• Passion for growth, metrics and user experience; data-driven and analytical
• Background in data science or interest in machine learning is a bonus

Required skills

• Software engineering background
• Confident with JSON and Java or JavaScript (SQL is a bonus)
