IT Contract Project Manager

About the role

Ubisoft Romania is looking for an IT Contract Project Manager to support the governance and optimization of IT contracts across Infrastructure & Platforms (I&P). The role drives operational excellence in contract lifecycle management, anticipating and optimizing renewals, and works closely with IT Vendor Management, Procurement and Finance to improve contract visibility and cost and usage optimization.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive renewal tracking and planning for a portfolio of IT contracts, coordinating IT, Procurement, Legal and Finance stakeholders and supporting business teams in preparing renewals.
• Lead end-to-end management of smaller contracts from preparation to renewal with Procurement, and contribute to renewal processes, guidelines and best practices.
• Analyze contract usage (licenses, infrastructure) to find optimization opportunities, track financial commitments against actual consumption and build simple dashboards or reports (Excel; Power BI a plus).
• Research licensing models, market benchmarks and alternatives, and flag aging or under-optimized contracts.
• Manage day-to-day interactions with smaller vendors, take part in vendor discussions and renewals, and help prepare larger strategic contracts.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT project management, contract management, procurement or a related field.
• Experience in cross-functional settings (IT, Finance, Procurement, Legal).
• Exposure to contract lifecycle management and/or vendor-related topics.
• Basic understanding of contractual terms, vendor processes and procurement workflows; awareness of negotiation processes is a plus.

Required skills

• Project management and coordination, with strong organization and process structuring.
• Data analysis and reporting; Excel required, Power BI or data visualization tools a plus.
• Structured, detail-oriented, proactive, with strong communication skills.
