Head of Field Service Europe and Middle East

About the role

The Head of Field Service Europe and Middle East will lead the field‑service organisation across a large geographic area, ensuring safe, efficient and profitable service delivery for mining customers. You will set strategic objectives, manage senior managers and drive business growth while supporting the company’s sustainability mission.

Key responsibilities

• Organise, control and lead field‑service activities in the assigned sales area.
• Manage the field‑service P&L, including quotations, pricing and cost control.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships, expanding the field‑service portfolio.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align service delivery with corporate strategy.
• Implement reporting systems and monitor performance metrics for the region.
• Support spares, wear parts, upgrades and rebuild business development.

Required profile

• Engineering diploma or degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of mining‑industry experience in plant maintenance and operation.
• At least 5 years of managerial experience with direct customer interaction.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel across Europe and the Middle East.

Required skills

• Mechanical engineering knowledge.
• Experience with mills, crushers, screens, thickeners and flotation cells.
• Familiarity with pumps and cyclones (plus).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
