Full Stack Developer – React, Java & Azure (Frontend-Focused)

About the role

As a member of PwC’s Enterprise Data Platform team in Bucharest, you will design and build scalable web applications that support internal and external stakeholders. The position is primarily focused on frontend development with React and TypeScript, while also contributing to Java‑based backend services and Azure cloud integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Java backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Implement responsive user interfaces using React and TypeScript.
• Write unit, integration and end‑to‑end tests to ensure high code quality.
• Create and keep up‑to‑date technical documentation for applications and processes.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, UX Designers and the Architecture team to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support existing services, troubleshoot issues and explore Azure AI capabilities to add intelligent features.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on experience developing Java backend services.
• Strong proficiency in building modern web front‑ends with React and TypeScript.
• Fluent English communication; German is a plus.
