Front Line Manager - F&A - AP

About the role

Genpact is looking for a Front Line Manager for Accounts Payable (AP) in Romania. The role leads an AP team handling vendor master maintenance, purchase order management, procurement issue resolution and/or invoice processing, invoice issue and hold resolution, and AP-related reconciliations. It is a hybrid position with a standard work shift.

Key responsibilities

• Lead an AP team covering vendor master maintenance, PO management, procurement issue resolution and/or invoice processing, invoice issue and hold resolution, and AP-related reconciliation.
• Conduct interviews and integrate new joiners into the team.
• Build an effective team with an inspiring environment and open communication culture.
• Set team priorities, behaviours and deliverables, and establish clear expectations and KPIs.
• Monitor team performance, report on metrics, give regular feedback and evaluate performance.
• Support team members with development plans and career mentoring.
• Build working relationships with sourcing and business finance partners.
• Act as the main contact for country/regional business controllers, sourcing partners and buyers on complex issues.
• Drive migrations, process stabilisations and improvements with manager/PM support.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance, or a Master's in Finance.
• Advanced English (C1).
• Accounts Payable certification and F-Tec certification.
